Representatives of the BOOST project attended Transfiere 2025, the European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation, held from 12 to 14 March 2025 at FYCMA in Málaga, Spain.
The event brought together companies, research organisations, universities, public authorities, investors and innovation professionals to promote knowledge transfer and strengthen collaboration between science and industry.
BOOST’s participation provided an opportunity to connect with relevant stakeholders from the European and Spanish research and innovation ecosystems and to exchange views on the challenges involved in bringing advanced research results closer to the market.
These discussions were closely aligned with BOOST’s mission to support European Innovation Council Pathfinder and Transition beneficiaries through EIC Booster Grants. The grants help EIC-supported teams explore commercialisation pathways, validate innovation opportunities, strengthen cooperation and increase the impact of their research results.
Attending Transfiere also enabled the project representatives to identify potential synergies with organisations working in technology transfer, deep-tech entrepreneurship, investment and research commercialisation.
Through its presence at key innovation events such as Transfiere, BOOST continues to raise awareness of the opportunities available to EIC Awardees and to strengthen its links with the wider European innovation ecosystem.
